It’s simple. Computer troubles, issues, or when your PC gear isn’t doing what it’s supposed to – call us to arrange a suitable time to drop your PC gear off at our workshop. This is so we’ll be available at the time you call by as we know it's all about timing.

With our “No Fix-No Fee” policy (The first 15 minutes, is spent on diagnostics to understand if the problem/issue is recoverable within the 90 minute period. We’ll contact you if the problem needs replacement parts or cannot be fixed in the 90 minute period. You will be given the option of proceeding with the work or you can pick your PC gear up at no charge) you can’t go wrong.

What can the IT-GUYS help with?

Hardware - PC's, notebooks/laptops and printers. Networks and broadband connections. Software installs. We can setup & configure your email accounts; access it using either webmail, your email program (dependant on ISP setup). Setup your home/small business internet connection. Call us if you need a service that may not be listed here.

How does the IT-GUYS Drop-Off PC Service work?

Call us to arrange a suitable time when you will most likely drop off your computer's base unit (this is the box that your keyboard, mouse and monitor plugs into) or PC gear at our workshop. If you use a High Definition (HD) or LCD/TFT monitor that requires specific drivers, please include them in the drop-off. To assist our diagnostics, please note down what the issue is, how it happens, how long it’s been happening for and what happened just before (if possible). This way we can ensure if we’ll require specific parts/tools to resolve it efficiently. We start working on your system immediately and will call you when it is ready; or if it needs replacement parts, software or work that’ll exceed the standard 90 minutes.

What will the cost be for the IT-GUYS Drop-Off PC Service?

The standard Drop-Off PC service costs - $85 including GST (Up to 90 minutes of professional PC diagnostics and/or repair to find out what is wrong and fix it quickly.)

Before we start any repair/service work, we’ll contact you for confirmation on how you would like to proceed with the following optional items available to be done at time of service:
+ Antivirus scan
+ Spyware scan
+ Trojan scan
+ Security check
+ Install and/or update of personal firewall software
+ Update and configuration of your computer's security configuration to make sure that your system is safe
+ Install of NOD32 antivirus software (60 day evaluation trial) or AVG free edition (subject to availability.)

Extended repair times are priced at $45 per additional hour after the 90 minutes. Replacement parts are priced and given at the time we call you to confirm whether you would like us to proceed with the job.
